Product Description
The IS200BPIHH1A is designed as a Bridge Personality Interface Board that fits into the Mark VI series from GE. The Mark VI is part of the Speedtronic series for steam/gas turbine management system. The Speedtronic series has been managing heavy-duty turbines since the MKI was released in the late 1960s, with ever-increasing complexity and reliability. The MKVI uses a Windows-based operator interface with Ethernet capability.
The IS200BPIHH1A has been designed to connect to the (CABP) Control Assembly Backplane in order to communicate with the (BICH) H-Bridge Interface and Control Board. Much of the Input/Output from the Bridge Interface and Control board’s bridge routes through the subassembly on the IS200BPIHH1A to the FOSB Fiber-Optic Interface board.
Two backplane connectors are located on the IS200BPIHH1A. These are marked P1 and P2. The board also has three other connectors, marked JA through JC. These are plug connectors for the BPIH subassembly, and they mount into the faceplate connected to the circuit board.
The IS200BPIHH1A has a line of eighteen integrated circuits with a final integrated circuit placed located near the center of the board. The board has four sets of plated through-holes that are marked as TPC, TPX, TPB, and TPA.
The IS200BPIHH1A fits into an Innovation series rack system. The Innovation Series is designed to be placed in specific rack slots. Placing the IS200BPIHH1A in the incorrect slot may damage the board or board components. Please follow all replacement procedures as specified by the manufacturer in publications like data sheets and manuals. If these publications have not been retained, this information may be found in GE publication GEI-100417.
