About the IS200BPIHH1AAA
The IS200BPIHH1AAA is a Bridge Personality Interface Board subassembly that is part of the GE Mark VI Speedtronic system for the control of gas and steam turbine system. The Mark VI is one of the final Speedtronic systems developed by GE in a long line of systems that have offered reliable control for industrial systems for decades.
The IS200BPIHH1AAA is used in Innovation Series drives and connects into a CABP board where it communicates through that and other boards. The BPIH board buffers control signals for the BICH board before they interface with the FOSB fiber-optic array. The board’s subassembly acts as a RS-422 interface distributor for phase-related signals as they come and go from the BICH and FOSB boards.
The IS200BPIHH1AAA board has a limited number of components. The board is designed with two backplane connectors (P1 and P2) as well as three front jack connectors mounted to its front faceplate. The faceplate is connected to the circuit board using screws. The faceplate has two locking mounts that help keep the circuit board in place once it is placed within a rack system. The board also has twenty-one integrated circuits, most of which are located in a single line parallel to the front faceplate, along with resistors and capacitors. The board is marked with a barcode and board id number, and also has four blocks of test points marked off on the surface of the board (TPA, TPB, TPC and TPX.)
