About the IS200DAMCG1A
The IS200DAMCG1A is a type of printed circuit board or PCB. This board is what is known as an Innovation Series 200DAM Gate Drive Amplifier and Interface board. These boards are used as an interface between the devices which are in charge of switching power (IGBTs) and the control rack in a low voltage Innovation Series drive.
These devices have LEDs or light-emitting diodes which tell an operator if the IGBT is on. The DAMC is one of the variations of the DAM gate drive boards. The DAMC boards have a power rating of 250 frames. DAMC boards, as well as DAMB and DAMA boards, are responsible for amplifying current in order to provide the final stage of gate drive for a phase leg of the power bridge. These boards have a +15/-7.5 input of power supply. DAMC boards are connected directly into the IGBT gate, as well as collector and emitter terminals. DAMC boards are also connected into the IS200BPIA Bridge Personality Interface or BPIA board of the control rack. Four (4) different LEDs or light-emitting diodes are positioned on the IS200DAMCG1A. Two (2) of these, named DS1 and DS2, are yellow. The other two (2), DS3 and DS4, are green in color. The IS200DAMCG1A is a small rectangular circuit board. The DS4 and DS2 have been placed at the bottom of the left half of the PCB. These are also labeled with the initials LFF and LON respectively. Near the top of the right half of the IS200DAMCG1A are the DS1 and DS3 LEDs which are marked with the initials UON and UFF.
