General Electric created the IS200DSPXH1BBA as a Digital Signal Processor Control PCB (DSPX) for the Innovation Series.

The IS200DSPXH1BBA can control the bridge regulator, motor regulator, and gating functions for the system. It can control an EX2100 exciter’s applications with the generator field control. The DSPX can interface, process power, and process logic functions. This card has memory components that come standard with many Innovation Series devices. The DSPX uses RAM, NVRAM, flash memory, and add-only memory to store a wide variety of information. It has high-performance digital signal processors and the capability to run custom logic functions with integrated circuits that are application specific.

There are two LED indicators on the front faceplate of the IS200DSPXH1BBA that are labeled Fault and Status. It possesses a pin connector labeled EMUL and a port that is labeled HS Serial. On the PCB there are numerous resistors, capacitors, and diodes. There are 16 integrated circuits, 3 transistors, 7 resistor networks, a single P1 card slot connector, and 6 ferrite beads.
