About the IS200DSPXH2B
The IS200DSPXH2B is a GE circuit board created for inclusion in the Speedtronic Mark VI line. The Mark VI is one of the later Speedtronic systems, designed to offer control for industrial gas or steam turbine systems with a triple modular redundant design, a Windows-based NT Operating system, and access to Ethernet networking.
The IS200DSPXH2B is a Digital Signal Processor Control Board. There are several versions of this board, but all come with a high-performance digital signal processor (DSP) and an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) that is designed to perform custom logic functions using various types of memory, including SRAM, FLASH, and add-only.
The IS200DSPXH2B is designed with multiple integrated circuits. Two of these are protected by shields connected to the surface of the board. Other components include resistors and resistor network arrays, capacitors, diodes, and transistors. The board also has multiple I/O connectors and two LED indicators. Both LED indicators and two of the I/O ports are mounted into the connected front faceplate. These are individually labeled with their respective uses as well as labeled on the board surface with their reference designator. The board has one additional vertical I/O port and a backplane connector located on the opposite edge from the front faceplate.
Please be aware the IS200DSPXH2B can be damaged during installation or removal if improperly handled. OEM recommendations suggest the use of a grounding strap at all times to reduce the chance of damage from static electricity. We ship in anti-static bags. Storage in these bags is also recommended.
