About the IS200ECTBG1ABB
Model number IS200ECTBG1ABB is one of the Excitation Contact Terminal Boards produced by General Electric as part of the Mark VI series. This model is one of the units within the first group of ECTB models. The two groups are ECTBG1 and ECTBG2. The IS200ECTBG1ABB model, as part of the ECTBG1 group, can only be used in redundant mode. Each board, no matter if in the first or second group of ECTB models, the board will contain two trip contact outputs, which will drive a customer lockout, as well as four Form-C relay contact outputs, controlled by an attached EMIO board. There are also auxiliary contact inputs, six in total, which will be wetted (powered) with 70 volts of direct current from the ECTB board. When being used redundantly, as this model will, the power will come from M1 and M2 power supplies.
The primary manual that will be used when operating the IS200ECTBG1ABB model is the GEI-100457, but as that model is not readily available, the best manual to use, at least for information on the model, and some of its contact inputs and outputs, is the GEH-6632 Instruction Guide. The GEH-6632 guide references the other boards in the Mark VI model that the IS200ECTBG1AAA unit can be used with. The GEH-6632 Manual will also indicate what module the ECTB receives power from, which will be the EPSM module, which has the M1 and M2 power supplies.
