About the IS200EXIBG1AAA
The IS200EXIBG1AAA is a PCB component designed as part of the Mark VI series for gas/steam turbine management. The Mark VI is part of GE’s Speedtronic line, which has been in production since the 1960s. The Mark VI is the fifth commercially released system sold under the Speedtronic name.
The IS200EXIBG1AAA provides the majority of interface functions between the exciter bridge of the Innovation Series (Medium Voltage SP) Drive and the EXIC board (Exciter Control Interface Card.) The IS200EXIBG1AAA board mounts on the back side of the hinged panel the EXIC board is mounted on. The IS200EXIBG1AAA may be used in either the 3300V or the 6600V version of the drive. The board provides current feedback, ac/dc voltage feedback, SCR gating, and metal oxide varistor fuse loss detection.
The IS200EXIBG1AAA is built with sixteen heatsinks for the dissipation of excessive heat. The board has capacitors made of polyester vinyl and ceramic material, as well as eleven high-voltage electrolytic capacitors. Six transformers are located in a line near the rear edge of the board. The board also has two coil inductors, five resistor network arrays, ten plug connectors of varying size and type (some male, some female,) and nine stab-on connectors. Forty-seven TP test points are used for diagnostic purposes as well as to access I/O signals, gate current amplifier signals, and power supply signals. GE publication GEI-100448 will give more information on components and their use.
Manufacturer guidelines for safety and installation should be reviewed before your new part is received and unboxed. We will treat the IS200EXIBG1AAA as a static-sensitive board. This includes using an anti-static wrap for protection during transit.
