About the IS200GDDDG1AEC
The IS200GDDDG1AEC is a Gate Driver/Dynamic Discharge Card within the Mark VI system from General Electric. The MKVI was one of the later Speedtronic systems released by GE for the management of both large and small industrial steam and gas turbine systems. It has the flexibility to manage both sizes of turbines because the system can be set up as either a simplex or a triple modular redundant (TMR) system. TMR systems use three completely separate power supplies, IONets, and control modules to improve reliability.
The IS200GDDDG1AEC is a large board with many components mounted to its surface. This includes three jumper switches (JP1 through JP3) that make changes to output voltage scale, DC link voltage scale, and dynamic discharge range. A table is printed on the board’s surface with more information. Additional information is also available with GE publications.
Other components on the IS200GDDDG1AEC include eight TP test points, two mating connectors, eight header connectors, and a voltage regulator. The mating connectors are both male. One has 40 pins and the other 20. The header connectors include two-pin and eight-pin connectors. The voltage regulator is an integrated circuit that will provide a fixed output voltage no matter the change in input or load.
The board also has eight transistors, over thirty integrated circuits, and three green LEDs. The LEDs are marked Bridge OK/No Bridge Fault, IMOK, and DD Aux Power Available.
