Product Description

The IS200GFOIH1BBA is a board component manufactured by GE for the Mark VI system.  As one of the last of the ‘Speedtronic’ systems, the Mark VI benefitted from over three decades of development and research of creating control systems for heavy duty gas and steam turbines.  The Mark VI is built around a Central Control Module with individual PCBs that each have high/low hardware limit checking as well as software limit checking. The system uses Ethernet communications for most internal and external needs.

The IS200GFOIH1BBA is a component dense board that can accept an optional daughterboard.  This auxiliary board mounts to the main board via four screw mounts threaded through standoffs, and when installed, adds additional connectors, capacitors, integrated circuits, resistors, transistors, and test points.  

The IS200GFOIH1BBA has a single backplane connector located in the upper left quadrant of the board.  It has a connector to accept the previously mentioned auxiliary board, plus a vertical pin connector (P6.)  The board is populated by ten TP test points, four transistors, and eight resistor network arrays. Other components include capacitors, diodes, and resistors.  The board has multiple integrated circuits, including a FPGA (field programmable gate array.) This chip from Xilinx Spartan offers 32K of RAM. The board has a single switch component, located toward the center line of the front edge.
