About the IS200HFPRG1A
The IS200HFPRG1A is a GE component made for the Mark VI system. The Mark VI is part of the Speedtronic series for gas and steam turbine management which began with the Mark I in the 1960s and continued through the 2000s with the Mark VI/Mark VIe. The MKVI includes Ethernet communication capabilities and a PC-based interface (HMI) that allows access to control module data from a single location. The control module is responsible for most of the protection, control, and monitoring of the turbine system. While the HMI allows access to data, no processes actually occur within the HMI. Therefore it is a non-essential part of the system.
The IS200HFPRG1A functions as a High-frequency Power Supply Board, which is used within Innovation Series Medium Voltage (GP Type H) drives. The board uses 24 VAC 50/60 Hz square wave input supplied from a constant voltage control power transformer. Fuse protection is supplied for all input and output voltages.
The IS200HFPRG1A is built with six plug connectors. This includes HFPL1/HFPL2 that are designed for power supplies, FAPL1/FAPL2 that are used for fan power supplies, and C1PL and C2PL which connect to external capacitors. The board has two LEDs that are used as power supply output indicators. The board also has five fuses and a terminal board.
Refer to manuals or user guides that reference the IS200HFPRG1A number for information on replacement procedures. De-energizing procedures for the drive should also be followed. These procedures can be found in GEH-6133 (liquid-cooled drives) or GEH-6131 (air-cooled drives.)
