About the IS200IGPAG1A
The IS200IGPAG1A is a board component created by General Electric for their Mark VI system. One of the last gas/steam turbine management systems to carry the Speedtronic name, the Mark VI is designed with a central Control Module that manages the majority of all control, monitoring, and protection of the turbine system. This Control Module is designed with redundant backups on all critical controls and protection parameters. The Control Module connects to a Human/Machine Interface (HMI) or Operator Interface that allows most turbine data to be accessed from a single location. This interface is built using a PC running on a Windows platform.
The IS200IGPAG1A functions as a Gate Driver Power Supply Card. It mounts directly to the Integrated Gate Commutated Thyristor (IGCT.) One board is used per IGCT.
The IS200IGPAG1A is built with two coil inductors. It has two board connectors. This includes one 9-pin vertical header connector used for output and one 5-pin connector used for input. Seven high-voltage electrolytic capacitors are located in groups of one, two and four. The board has two LED strips with four LEDs per strip. The board has two fuses, eight TP test points, and several transistors. Heat sinks take up most of the top half of the board. Resistors used on the board tend to be made of metal film. The board is drilled in several locations. Reference designators identify most components.
