About the IS200IGPAG2AED
The IS200IGPAG2AED is a component for the Mark VI system. The Mark VI is a Speedtronic system for gas/steam turbine management. Speedtronic systems from GE have been used for turbine management for decades, starting with the Mark I in the 1960s and continuing through to the release of the Mark VI and Mark VIe in the late 1990s/early 2000s. The Mark VI includes advances like a PC-based HMI (human machine interface) that gives users access to data from the central Control Module in one location. The HMI uses proprietary software designed for turbine management, like CIMPLICITY graphics and the GE Control Systems Toolbox.
The IS200IGPAG2AED has two distinct sides of the board. One side is full of components while the other is nearly empty. The nearly empty side of the board has markings drawn on the board surface where components might be placed, but the components are not on the board. The few components that are located on this side include a 9-pin vertical male header connector, several terminal connectors drilled through the surface of the board, and two LED indicators placed side-by-side on the board edge. These LEDs are mirrored on the other side of the board by two other LEDs. Each pair of LEDs includes one green and one amber LED.
The ‘full’ side of the IS200IGPAG2AED includes an inductor coil, four electrolytic capacitors, several ceramic capacitors and some capacitors made of polyester vinyl. The board has six heat sink components located in two lines. Resistors located on the IS200IGPAG2AED tend to be made of metal film material. The board has few integrated circuits.
