About the IS200ISBEH2A
The IS200ISBEH2A is a component manufactured by General Electric for the Mark VI system. One of the last Speedtronic gas/steam turbine management systems, the MKVI is considered a complete solution for the protection, control, and monitoring needed for a heavy-duty turbine, including all the hardware and software. The MKVI is built with an HMI (operator interface) that is based on a PC running a Microsoft Windows platform and preloaded with CIMPLICITY graphics display as well as other proprietary software. The HMI connects directly to the central Control Module, where all the control and protection for the system occurs. This allows the HMI to be replaced or reinitialized with no impact to running processes.
The IS200ISBEH2A is an ISbus Extender board that functions as a transmit/receive connector usually designed to mate directly with the J11A local ISBus Interface Connector on the Control Assembly Backplane (IS200CABP.) The board has a DATEL DC/DC converter with 18V to 36V input, 5V output @ 1A. The board has several connectors, including two plugs marked P1A and P1B. There are two terminal strips with two positions each, located at opposite sides of the board, and two fiber-optic connectors (R and T.) The board has four conduction sensors (E1 through E4.) The board has one three position jumper switch. The board has an information box labeled “JP1-Interlock Bypass” with the following information: 1-2 Unbypassed, 2-3 Bypassed. The board has three LEDs and eight integrated circuits. The board also has resistors, diodes, and capacitors.
