About the IS200STTCH2A
The IS200STTCH2A is a DIN Rail mounted Thermocouple Terminal card. The IS200STTCH2A is particularly flexible due to the ability to build the system as either a triple redundant or a simplex system.
The IS200STTCH2A uses DIN rail mounting. DIN rails are a standard type of mechanical support mounting that sometimes allows for a chassis ground connection. The center of this board is populated by lines of capacitors, resistors, and ferrite beads, which are usually used as high-frequency noise suppression devices.
The long edges of the IS200STTCH2A are populated by the board’s two largest components. On one side this is a 48-position terminal strip. The strip is divided into two lines of 24 screw connections. Terminal strips allow for quick and easy connection or termination of wires to the board. The other side of the board has one cable connector placed at its center. This is a female, 37-position DC connector. To one side, the board’s only integrated circuit (U1) is placed on the board surface. The board has several codes for identification purposes, including 6BA00 and 94V-0. More information regarding the board’s rack location, handling procedures, and component descriptions can be found in user guides or manuals from the manufacturer.
