About the IS200TBCIH2B
The IS200TBCIH2B board is a Contact Input with Group Isolation made by General Electric as part of the Mark VIe System. The main feature of this board is to accept up to twenty-four dry contact inputs which are wired to two barrier-type terminal blocks. There is noise suppression circuitry which is primarily used to safeguard against high-frequency noise and surges. This board can be used in triple modular redundant (TMR), dual, and simplex applications.
As this board can be used in several applications, several connections can be made with the IS200TBCIH2B board depending on the application used. When being used in a TMR system the TBCI board will connect to the I/O processors using the JS1, JT1, and JR1 connectors. When being used in a complex system the I/O processor will connect to a singular JR1 connector. As this model is being used in a Mark VIe system the I/O packs will connect to the TBCI and then be attached to side-mounting brackets.
There are a number of diagnostic tests that can be performed by the IS200TBCIH2B board. One example is when the inputs from the board do not match the voted value of the three boards used in a TMR system a fault will be created to ensure that the fault is fixed. Please note that this board has no hardware settings or jumpers on the board.
Due to no longer being actively produced by General Electric this board can technically be considered obsolete but the model is still found widely available. If you are interested in purchasing this board please reach out to our sales team for more information.
