About the IS200TREGH5BDC
The IS200TREGH5BDC is a PCB board manufactured as part of the Mark VI system. The MKVI is part of the Speedtronic series from GE, for the management of heavy-duty turbine systems (gas or steam.) The MKVI offers fully programmable software maintenance tools, as well as both software and hardware limit checking.
The IS200TREGH5BDC is a Gas Turbine Emergency Trip terminal board. There are multiple versions of this board that should be used for different applications. The IS200TREGH5BDC is a special version of an IS200TREGH1B board. Systems with redundant TREG boards use the H5 version. The feedback circuit and economizing relay power on this board is provided only by the JZ1 connector (instead of by all three connectors like on the H1B board.)
Emergency trip solenoids receive positive dc power from the IS200TREGH5BDC board. The TRPG board works in conjunction with the TREG board, providing the negative power to trip solenoids. Both of these boards are managed by the I/O controller.
The IS200TREGH5BDC is built with two lines of six relays. These relays vote inputs controlling the trip solenoids. The IS200TREGH5BDC has additional relays for other board functions. It has several D-type connectors and female plugs and two terminal strips (TB1/TB2.) The terminal strips can be removed for maintenance. Metal oxide varistors and resistors are used for current suppression. The board has transistors, diodes, resistors, and integrated circuits, but has no switches.
More information on the IS200TREGH5BDC board, its diagnostics, specifications, and function, may be found through GE publications (manuals/datasheets.) Technical support for Mark VI components was provided by GE.
