About the IS200TRPGH2B
The IS200TRPGH2B is a Gas Turbine Primary Trip terminal board designed by GE to be part of the Mark VI system. The Mark VI is an industrial gas/steam turbine management system featuring dynamic data recorders, trip history logs, and CIMPLICITY graphics display files (available through the system’s HMI/operator interface.)
The IS200TRPGH2B is a Simplex version of the TRPG board, which is one of several versions/types available of the TRPG. Output contact power is 125 V dc, 1 A or 24 V dc, 3 A. Normal power use for the board is at 28V. It works with the TREG board to form the emergency and primary sides of the interface to the ETDs. This board also allows for inputs from eight Geiger-Mueller flame detectors when used in gas turbine applications.
The IS200TRPGH2B has two terminal blocks with 24 screw connections per terminal block. The terminal blocks are connected to the board using two screws for mounting. A shield bar is connected to the board next to the terminal blocks. The opposite edge has a single 37-pin (female) cable connector (JR1.) The board also has several plug connectors (J1 through J5) that vary from three-position plugs to twelve-position plugs.
The center of the IS200TRPGH2B is populated by three relays, although there is space on the board for others. Each of these relays interfaces with a trip solenoid. The board is populated by polyester vinyl capacitors and capacitors of other materials, resistors, transistors, and several diode bridge rectifiers. One side of the board is fitted with standoffs that connect to a clear shield that is placed over a number of components.
