About the IS200VCCCH1B
The IS200VCCCH1B is a Mark VI board component. The MKVI is one of several gas/steam management systems released by GE under the “Speedtronic” name.
The IS200VCCCH1B functions as a Discrete Input/Output board. The board accepts discrete inputs via four terminal boards and controls relay outputs. The board is designed to mount in the VME I/O rack. This rack has two plugs (labeled J3 and J4) for cabling to terminal boards TBCI and TRLY. The IS200VCCCH1B is a double-slot board due to the need for room to accommodate the board’s daughterboard. If a single-slot board is necessary a VCRC board may be substituted for this board.
The IS200VCCCH1B has a front faceplate that is built with LED components and several connector components. These components are labeled. The surface of the board includes two DC power supplies, TP test points, resistors, capacitors, diodes, and over thirty transistors. The board also has multiple connectors including two backplane connectors and several vertical pin connectors. One of these vertical pin connectors attaches to a daughterboard located in the upper right corner of the board. The board is held in place by the pin connection as well as four screw connections threaded into standoffs. This daughterboard adds a third backplane to the board. There are over sixty integrated chips located on the IS200VCCCH1B, including FPGAs, CMOS static RAM, and SRAM.
More information on the IS200VCCCH1B may be found using data sheets, manuals, or by referencing the MKVI Turbine Control System Guide, which is GE publication number GEH-6421. If this publication is not available to you, AX Control will be happy to send a copy of pertinent sections with your order.
