About the IS200VCMIH1BEE
The IS200VCMIH1BEE is a board component from General Electric that is part of the company’s Mark VI Speedtronic system for the management of industrial gas and steam turbine systems.
The IS200VCMIH1BEE is typically installed within the VME backplane as part of the control module. The board is used to transmit information internally between I/O cards, both those within its own rack and those located on other modules, such as protect, interface, and control modules. It can also access and transfer information to the processor card.
The IS200VCMIH1BEE uses IEEE 1588 protocol IONet for transferring data between modules. IONet is GE’s special-purpose Ethernet for I/O packs and controllers on Mark(*) cards. In triple-redundant systems, there are three VCMI cards installed, one per control module. The data from these cards is exchanged between cards and voted upon before executed upon by the processor card.
The IS200VCMIH1BEE is a two-sided card with a large number of components. This includes over 200 capacitors and 400 resistors, as well as integrated circuits, inductors/chokes, and connectors, including two backplane connectors. The connected front faceplate has a mounted serial port, an IONet connector, and twenty LEDs. It also has a reset button mounted to its surface and is marked with the board number and with the GE logo. The faceplate connects to the board using two screw connections. The faceplate has two set clips that help keep the board in place after it has been installed into the rack system.
