About the IS200VCRCH1BBA
The IS200VCRCH1BBA is a GE Mark VI board component. This PCB was created as part of the Mark VI system, which was released as part of GE’s long-running Speedtronic line for the management of gas or steam turbine systems of various size. The Mark VI is the third of the Speedtronic systems to offer triple-redundant backups on critical controls. It also offers a PC-based HMI or Operator Interface that has preloaded software designed to coordinate with the Mark VI hardware. This HMI allows users access to turbine data, alarm information, and maintenance programs.
The IS200VCRCH1BBA functions as a Discrete Input/Output board. This board has the same functionality as VCCC boards but takes up significantly less space in the rack due to the absence of a daughterboard. Since this board uses the J3 and J4 ports on the VME rack, cables are placed on the front panel when using this board; if this is not possible, it is better to use a VCCC board in the setup.
The IS200VCRCH1BBA is built with a front faceplate that includes two cable connectors. These are marked J33 and J44. The faceplate also has a green LED, a red LED, and an orange LED, stacked together toward the top of the faceplate. These components are labeled Run, Fail, and Status. The faceplate is marked with identification information like board number and the manufacturer’s logo.
The IS200VCRCH1BBA has two backplane connectors. Other connectors are present. The board is populated with TP test points, resistors, diodes, and capacitors. There are over thirty transistors on the board surface, along with two power supplies. There are over sixty integrated circuits on the board surface, including RAM and SRAM chips and FPGAs.
