About the IS200XDIAG1ADD
The IS200XDIAG1ADD is a component used within the Mark VI turbine control system. This circuit board component is used as part of the gas & steam control as an LCI Retrofit Card. The LCI, or Load Commutated Inverter, is a system built with an input thyristor bridge that is regulated by an AC supply to supply a DC current. It has a separate output thyristor bridge that uses two thyristors to pass the DC current to the generator’s stator, causing it to rotate.
The IS200XDIAG1ADD is missing the typical front faceplate of most Mark VI components. It is a larger board, with a shipping weight of over four pounds. The board is populated by a number of connectors, including twelve stab-on connectors, vertical female plug connectors, male pin connectors, and ethernet connectors. Many of these have retainer clips to help provide support to associated cables.
Other board components on the IS200XDIAG1ADD include more than ten jumper switches (red), test points, dozens of integrated circuits, and resistors, diodes, and capacitors. The board has one LED indicator located near one corner. This is a green indicator that will indicate when the board is powered.
The IS200XDIAG1ADD has been factory-drilled in several places to facilitate installation. For in-depth information regarding the board’s function along with step-by-step instructions for maintenance and installation, please refer to documentation originally provided by General Electric. This includes GE Mark VI manuals and user guides.
