About the IS2020DRLYH1AA
The IS2020DRLYH1AA model is described by General Electric as a Relay Output Terminal Board. This specific version is just of many of the DRLY boards and is specifically a DRLYH1A group variation. There is a DRLYH1B group variation that has relay contacts that operate on less power than this DRLY model. One downside of this specific board is that it does not have any hazardous location certifications according to the GEH-6421C Volume II Speedtronic Mark VI Turbine Control System Guide. One important note about the DRLY board to make is that while other boards in the Mark VI system will be DIN-Rail mounted this specific unit must be Wall-Mounted, and can only be used in a Simplex Redundant Application.
When observing the DRLY board one can determine that there are several components, mainly the twelve relay output relay contacts. These form-C relay contacts are used for operating with the VCRC I/O processor board. When connecting the VCRC and IS2020DRLYH1AA boards together it will be done through the thirty-seven-pin cable connector which is identical to the one that is used on the TRLY terminal board.
There are many differences between the IS2020DRLYH1AA and IS2020DRLYH1B boards the main one being that this specific unit was designed to operate for general purpose usages and has ratings that cover most if not all applications while the DRLYH1B model has smaller contacts for use in its hazardous location and is also sealed.
Please note that if you wish to connect more than one DRLY board to the VCRC processor board a maximum of two can be connected.
