Product Description

The IS205FODAG1A is a PCB board component manufactured for the Speedtronic Mark VI system.  This is a gas/steam turbine management platform designed with centralized control. The Central Control Module of the Mark VI is connected to an operator interface that allows users access to turbine data via software platforms created by GE for use within the Mark VI, like the CIMPLICITY graphics system.  

The IS205FODAG1A is a Fiber Optic Drive.  It is an extremely small drive that has only a few board components.  These components are located on the front and the back side of the board.  The board’s backplane connector straddles the edge of the board, with the pins of the component alternating from side to side.  The PCB has a single factory-drilled hole to allow for mounting. It has several integrated circuits. These circuits are marked on their top surface with their manufacturer part number. The board surface is also marked with a reference designator to identify the component. The board is populated with rectangular resistors and rectangular electrolytic capacitors.

With the delicate extruding backplane pins, the IS205FODAG1A will be carefully packed before transit to protect from damage.  Our warehouse and shipping teams treat all Mark VI boards as static sensitive while stored or during shipment, using anti-static wraps to protect the boards.  A grounding strap is recommended when it is time to unbox your new part.
