About the IS205IGDPG1ABB
The IS205IGDPG1ABB board was manufactured by General Electric. This board is described as an IGDM Power/Auxiliary Board and must be soldered to the motherboard to ensure that the IGDM board is performing as needed. When being operated with the IGDM board in the Mark VI the board will be used with two prime mover types which are typically steam or gas turbines. The board will also be used in a triple modular redundant (TMR) architecture but can be used with simplex, dual, or TMR redundancy types.
The IS205IGDPG1ABB board was designed to be used as an auxiliary board for the IGDM board, as such the board needs to be small so it can be soldered to the IGDM board. Since the board is so small there are only a few components on the board which include an inductor, a diode, and three capacitors. The three capacitors are labeled C3, C2, and C1.
When operated with the corresponding IGDM board the IS205IGDPG1ABB board has the potential to be used with several I/O types. It can potentially be used with analog I/Os, synchronizing, shaft voltage/current monitoring, optical pyrometer inputs, and more.
Due to the IS205IGDPG1ABB model no longer being manufactured by GE, it is considered obsolete. Since it is considered obsolete and inactive it can be difficult to find in used or new surplus but AX Control does its best to supply this board and keep it on the shelf. If you are interested in purchasing this board, please contact the sales team by email or phone Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to obtain information about the pricing of the model.
