The IS205VCXHG1A is a board component manufactured by General Electric as part of the Mark VI system.  The Speedtronic Mark VI is a management platform for gas/steam turbines and features centralized control.  The system uses termination boards with barrier or box-type terminal strips to bring inputs to the Central Control Module.  This module is responsible for the bulk of the MKVI’s monitoring, protection, and control. The Control Module also includes a main processor card and an internal communication card.

The IS205VCXHG1A functions as a VCO Transmitter board.  It is a very small board with delicate components. This includes a backplane connector composed of individual metal pins that alternate between the front and back of the card and that extends from one long edge of the board.  Careful handling of the board is necessary to avoid damage of this connector.

The IS205VCXHG1A has twenty-seven resistors, twenty-four capacitors, six diodes, and seven integrated circuits.  The board has no TP test points or jumper components. Integrated circuits include full-size high-frequency DIP oscillators and monolithic synchronous voltage to frequency converters.  The board is marked with “6BA01” and with the board identification number. Each component is marked with a reference designator for identification, and many also carry marks and part numbers from their manufacturers.
