About the IS210BPPCH1A
The IS210BPPCH1A is an I/O Pack processor board designed for use in the Mark VIe system. I/O packs for the Mark VIe are marked with H1B. BPPC boards are upgraded versions of earlier BPPB I/O packs and are used in systems with ControlST V04.04 or later. These are not safety packs and are not designed for use on Mark VIeS systems. However, in TMR (triple modular redundant) systems, the BPPC board is capable of working with earlier BPPB-based I/O packs.
The IS210BPPCH1A is a double-sided board with components mounted on both the top and the bottom. This board utilized SMT, or surface mount technology.
The edges of the board include cutouts on two corners as well as round cutouts in two places along each of the long board edges. Large and small factory drilled holes are located near the corners; these are ringed with conductive material. The board is marked with the General Electric logo, carries the board’s id, and also has various reference designators close to components to aid in their identification.
The bottom of the board includes two connectors, multiple capacitors, resistors, and diodes, as well as several integrated circuits, jumper switches, and test points.
The top of the board has two Ethernet ports, a fuse, additional connectors, chokes, resistors, capacitors, ICs, and other components.
