About the IS215GFOIH1AB
The IS215GFOIH1AB board is marketed as a printed circuit board. It can be used with two different types of turbines, either steam or gas turbines. The location of this model can be used with two different architecture redundancy types, simplex or triple modular redundant. When the model is being used with a triple modular redundancy system it will be used with power supplies, Control Modules, and IONets, all of which are completely separate and independent. The VME racks that the Mark GFOI board will be used with are either thirteen or twenty-one slots, this model will only take up one of those slots.
When looking at the IS215GFOIH1AB board you will notice that in the middle of the board, there is an additional board, this additional board is labeled as a KSPA model. The KSPA model is an attached daughter board and is typically used for signal processing. The front faceplate of this board has several connectors, two of which are sub-D pin connectors which are labeled as a serial ports, and an I/O interface connector. There are also three indicator components and six HFBR-0400 Series components. The latter of these components are used for communication via fiber optics.
Unfortunately, due to being out of production the IS215GFOIH1AB board has very little information available. Most of the above information was taken from a visual inspection of the board as well as from a Mark VI Turbine Control System Instruction Manual which is labeled as GER-4193A. The GER-4193A manual can be found above located under the manual tab.
