Product Description
Equipped with an RJ-45 (10BaseT/100BaseTX) Ethernet port for connection to the UDH (Unit Data Highway), the IS215UCCAH3A is a single-slot board that features a 650 MHz Intel® Celeron™ processor. Produced by General Electric, the IS215UCCAH3A is the computational engine of the Mark VIe system. The single-slot board also includes a watchdog timer and two PMC (PCI Mezzanine Card) sites. It also provides a number of LEDs that give insight into system processes, such as when the controller is online and properly running application code. Status LEDs indicate when the system is off, when flash disk activity is in process, when power is applies, and when there is a reset condition. There are also LEDs that provide insight into the status of the Ethernet port.
More specifically, the microprocessor is an Ultra Low Voltage (8.3 watts max) version of the Intel Celeron. It runs on the QNX Neutrino operating system and uses control block language with discrete and analog blocks. It can operate in a temperature range of 32ºF to 140ºF (0°C-60°C) and a humidity range up to 95% non-condensing. The primary Ethernet Interface of the device employs TCP/IP protocol and supports Ethernet Modbus® protocol for communication between the controller and third-party DCS.
