The IS215UCVDH5A is a PLC module designed for the Mark VI turbine control system. This triple-board computer unit is designed to mount in the VME rack of the control module. The IS215UCVDH5A uses the VME bus to communicate with the turbine I/O board.

The IS215UCVDH5A  is designed with a front faceplate that includes multiple integrated components. There is a reset switch, two Genius Terminals, two COM ports, an Ethernet port for UDH communication, 2 ISBUS Ports, an LPT1 Port, and much more as seen in our photos. This specific model has a 300 MHz AMD K6 processor with 16 MB of DRAM and 8 MB of flash memory.

This unit uses the QNX operating system. This operating system is a real-time operating system similar to Unix. It is primarily used in industrial applications where high speed and reliability are necessary.
