About the IS215UCVEM01
Greater Product Series Information
The IS215UCVEM01 Controller board is part of the Mark VI turbine control system. This is only one option of many of these controller boards available. AX Control has many versions of the UCVx controller in stock and ready to ship, often as both reconditioned used and never-used surplus. Our team can provide the availability and cost of these controllers to you with one quick email or phone call. Mark VI systems offer primary functionality like speed control during startup, automatic synchronization for the generator, turbine Overspeed protection, and turbine load control during normal on-grid operation.
Hardware Tips and Specifications
The IS215UCVEM01 includes a front faceplate attached to the circuit board. This faceplate includes:
- two set screws (one top and one bottom) that help lock the entire module into the rack after it has been installed
- the faceplate also has a reset button located near its center along with three status LED located near its top edge
- there are many connection ports in the faceplate, too
- this includes a keyboard and mouse port, a monitor port, two RS-232C com ports, a slot for a mezzanine card, and two ethernet ports with two LED indicators each
UCVE controllers are typically used for PROFIBUS communications; this is for simplex, non-TMR systems only. In Mark VI systems, this is typically set up as a PROFIBUS-DP system where a Class 1 master exchanges I/O data with slave devices.
