The IS215UCVGM01A is a board component for the Mark VI system.  The Mark VI is a GE turbine management system released under the Speedtronic line, a line of management systems that spans over three decades.

The IS215UCVGM01A functions as a UCV controller board.  It is a single-slot board that mounts within the control module and uses the VME bus to communicate with the I/O boards. The board uses a QNX OS for high-reliability, high-speed industrial applications.    This board is one of five versions of the controller. The IS215UCVGM01A can directly replace any previous controller version.

The IS215UCVGM01A has a Lithium (type 1) battery that should only be replaced by an equivalent battery type.  The battery is rated 3.3 V, 200 mA. The board has an enable/disable switch (SW10) located near the battery. There are several other switches on the board; their uses and settings can be found through GE publications.   The front of the controller has a single-slot faceplate that includes two USB connectors, four LEDs, two COM ports and LAN ports, a keyboard and monitor port, and a reset switch. The faceplate has an open slot for the addition of an auxiliary board.  This expansion slot is a PMC expansion site.

The IS215UCVGM01A is populated by a backplane connector and other connectors, resistors, capacitors, diodes, and coil inductors.   The board has an operating temperature of 0 to 70 degrees Celsius.
