All fuses for these drives must have branch circuit protection, short circuit protection, and overcurrent protection. The mains and the motor must be connected. Use a shielded/armored motor cable to comply with EMC emission specifications, and connect this cable to both the decoupling plate and the motor. In order to reduce the leakage currents and noise level, keep the motor cable as short as possible. Mount the earth wires to the earth terminal and connect terminals U, V, and W to the motor. Mount the mains supply to terminals L1/L, L2 and L3/N (3-phase) or L1/L and L3/N (single-phase) and tighten.
