The 6KGP43050X9XXXA1 has many self-protecting features built into the unit, including electronic thermal overload that will protect the drive from harm.  It also has the ability to withstand a current overload of 150% for up to 1 minute.  Additionally, the flying start feature will allow you to catch a spinning motor.  The unit is built within an IP20 enclosure that is designed for inside use. 

The 6KGP43050X9XXXA1 does not include a brake chopper or dynamic brake resistors.  However, these can be added after the fact as add-ons. The unit does include a built-in Modbus RTU and a DC link reactor.

 This powerful drive offers vector modes (sensorless vector and PID) as well as safe torque off safe stop functionality.  This safety feature creates a hardware break between drive and motor that is more complete than that of a drive inhibit function.
