The General Electric Fuji Electric 6KAF343010ESA1 is an adjustable frequency drive from the AF-300E$ series. A 15 horsepower unit, this 3 phase drive can input 460 VAC while outputting 380-480 VAC with a frequency range of 0.2-400Hz. Dual 16-bit microprocessors offer speed and precision, creating an exceptional user experience.
Both variable and constant torque ratings are integrated into the drive. Paired with a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) torque vector control, the drive offers varying output speeds. Operating at a constant torque will produce 10 horsepower while operating at a variable torque produces 15 horsepower.
6KAF343010ESA1 is housed in a NEMA 1 enclosure, making it suitable for indoor installation only. The drive measures 10.24in (H) x 8.66in (W) x 7.68in (D) and weighs only 14 pounds. The compact size allows for easy transport and installation. A keypad panel with an LCD programming screen and an LED drive data display are featured on the front of the drive. The screen can display in English, Spanish, French, and Japanese allowing for usage in different work environments. The keypad panel on the front of the drive can be easily removed, permitting for remote operational usage.
As the drive is suitable for indoor installation only, it is imperative to maintain an appropriate operating environment. The ambient temperature of the facility housing the drive must range between -10℃ and 50℃, or 14℉ and 122℉. Should the operational facility’s temperature raise above 40℃, or 104℉, then the ventilation covers on the drive should be removed to prevent device damage.
