About the 6KE$3PID

The 6KE$3PID part is an optional drive board manufactured by Fuji Electric for use within the Frenic 5000 G9S series.  This part number corresponds to Fuji number OPC-G9S-PID.  The unit is designed for installation within G9S series and provides that drive with proportional integral derivative control, or PID.   Such control allows the associated drive to operate certain machinery, such as fans or pumps, easily, by gauging the required motor output based upon source feedback. 

The 6KE$3PID is used in environments where the ambient temperature remains between -10 C and + 50 degrees C.  If the temperature is above 40 degrees celsius, remove the front cover of the drive to allow more airflow to internal components.  The unit should not be used in locations where dust, corrosive gases, or oil mist are present, or where water in any form is present.  This includes condensation or where the unit might be subject to freezing. 

The Frenic 5000G9S is a high-performance low noise inverter with a front keypad panel and a front display.  Full installation instructions for both the full inverter as well as for the specific  6KE$3PID part can be found within Fuji Electric documentation like manuals and user guides.  These would have been shipped to you with your original OEM purchase.  If you no longer have these in your possession, AX Control may be able to help with duplicates with your purchase.  Let our team know if you require replacement copies when you call or email to place your order.
