About the 6KMS243001NA1
The General Electric Fuji Electric 6KMS243001N1A1 is a microdrive from the AF-300 Micro-$aver II series. This 1 horsepower drive inputs 460VAC and outputs 360-480VAC with a frequency range of 0-400Hz. This 3 phase drive integrates Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) ‘Torque Vector’ creating a higher starting torque. When running on low, the PWM system creates an Output Current Carrier Frequency of 2.5, while running on high creates an output of 2.1.
Housed in a NEMA 1 enclosure, 6KMS243001N1A1 is suitable for indoor installation only. On the smaller side, the drive weighs only 4.2 pounds and measures 6.22in (H) x 5.67in (W) x 4.29in (D). A removable front cover on the drive allows for easy user access to power and control wiring.
Microdrives manufactured in NEMA 1 enclosures did not include a factory installed keypad. As this keypad panel gives access for drive operation and programming, many units can now be bought with a panel installed. Sold as separate parts, the keypad type 6KM$2KP1 is the correctly sized panel for these microdrives. This keypad panel features an LCD digital display and 8 dual function keys. The keys included are a FUNCTION key (Data key), PROGRAM key (Reset key), UP/DOWN keys, a RUN key, and a STOP key.
Following proper storage and operational guidelines are imperative to preserving the integrity of the drive. Ambient temperatures of the operating facility should range between -10℃ and 50℃, or 14℉ and 122℉. If the facility’s temperature raises above 40℃, or 104℉, be sure to remove the ventilation cover to prevent the device from overheating. Follow all safety and installation guidelines outlined in the series’ user manual.
