The 6KP1143015X1B1 is a large cube-shaped device. It has a display that features a 4-digit 7-segment LEDs and an LCD display just under it. It has a 9 button keypad. These keys are labeled PRG, shift >>, reset, func/data, an up arrow, a down arrow, FWD, REV and stop. The FWD and REV keys are green and the stop key is red. This drive is protected by a NEMA 1 type enclosure. It is vented on its sides and is meant for inside usage only. On top of this drive is a large air circulation fan that is used to keep the internal circuitry from overheating.
The 6KP1143015X1B1 can be mounted onto a vertical solid structure like a panel or backplane. There are four factory drilled holes on the back of the drive that can be used to mount it.
