About the IC300DAC101
The IC300DAC101 is an Analog Output Module. It was originally created by GE Fanuc, but is no longer being supported by GE and may be a little difficult to locate. AX Control does try to keep it stocked though.
The IC300DAC101 is a 4 channel SmartStack analog output device. It has a 14-bit resolution and voltage output resolution. It has a voltage of (+/-10 VDC). The input ratings for this board are 24 VDC, 120 mA. It has a peak output voltage of 10.24 VDC and a +/-10.23V output range. It has a load impedance of a minimum of 2K Ohms. It requires a 0.79 watt or 33 mA @24 VDC steady-state power. It has a negligible required inrush power. It has a power budget requirement of 150 mA maximum. It has a conversion setting time of 1 minute. It has a removable spring clamp terminal. It weighs 270 grams.
The IC300DAC101 can be stacked with up to three other I/O onto a single operator control station. This module is a small black rectangle that has a yellow terminal strip on its bottom edge. In the module’s four corners, there are pin connectors that allow the user to easily snap the SmartStack into place. These connectors also help the user easily remove the module from the stack. Because these modules can be stacked one on top of the other, it eliminates the need for them to be connected via serial link resulting in a quicker user interface.
