About the IC300DIQ611
The IC300DIQ611 is a GE Fanuc SmartStack Digital Combination DC Module. This module is a legacy series module that no longer receives support from GE. It may be a little difficult to find, but AX Control still tries to keep it in stock.
The IC300DIQ611 has both digital inputs and outputs. It possesses 8 DC inputs that are isolated 12/24 VDC with positive and negative logic. It also has 8 DC outputs that are 5/12/24 VDC 0.5A with a negative logic that has ESCP. These I/O have 1 common per module. The input of this module has a maximum peak voltage of 35 VDC and a 500 VDC channel to bus isolation. It has an on-volt level of 9 VDC and an off-volt level of 3 VDC. These inputs are bidirectional and have a 10k ohms impedance. The output of this module has an operating voltage of 5-35 VDC with a maximum peak voltage of 35 VDC. It has an on-voltage level of 1.5 VDC maximum. It has a max load current of 0.5 A. This module has short circuit protection for its outputs. It can connect to 8 LED status indicators.
The IC300DIQ611 is a rectangular box that can be stacked onto an operator control station (OCS) with up to three other I/O modules. It has a yellow terminal strip on the bottom side of the module. The module has four factory-drilled holes in each of its corners on one side. On the other side, it has four pin-type connections that can slide into the holes of another module or the OCS. This hole/pin connection system allows for the easy connection and removal of I/O modules to an OCS.
