About the IC300DIQ616
The IC300DIQ616 is a SmartStack Digital Combo Module. This module was mass-produced and sold by GE Fanuc. It has been discontinued by GE, but AX Control still makes the attempt to keep it in stock.
The IC300DIQ616 is 16 channels. It has 8 inputs and 8 outputs. The 8 digital inputs are 12/24 VDC with positive and negative logic. The 8 digital outputs are 5/12/24 VDC and 0.5 amps with positive logic that has ESCP. This is one of the I/O Modules that comes featured in the IC696CPU500 Starter Kit.
The IC300DIQ616 is a stackable rectangular I/O module that can be placed with up to three other I/O modules onto a single OCS station. On the bottom side of the module, there are holes at the 4 corners where another module can be stacked onto it. On the top side of the module, there are pins at the 4 corners that can slide into the holes on the bottom of another module. There is also a 42-pin male connection on top that plugs into a corresponding female connection on the bottom of the OCS station or another I/O module. The I/O connections on the module should be facing down after it is attached to either the OCS or to another I/O.
The IC300DIQ616’s digital I/O connections are labeled numerically I1-I8, C, VC, V+, and alphanumerically Q1-Q8. The I connections are 12-24 VDC while the Q connections are 5-35 VDC. On the left side of the module, there are labels indicating that there are 8 output and 8 input connections on the module.
