About the IC300MIX902
The IC300MIX902 unit is a Bipolar Digital In, Sourcing Digital Out module that was made for the SmartStack series of products by GE Fanuc.
The IC300MIX902 I/O module has four main parts: the analog input, the digital input, the analog output, and the digital output. All four of these parts will be detailed below. In general, though, keep in mind that the IC300MIX902 I/O module has a required steady state power rating of 0.03 W.
The analog input has four channels and four inputs. The input range, including any possible over-range, is 0 through 20.47 mA. The input impedance for the analog input is 200 Ohms < 12 VDC. The analog input has a successive approximation converter type and a maximum overcurrent rating of 35 mA.
There are eight digital inputs on the IC300MIX902 I/O module with only one common. The input voltage range for the digital inputs is 12 to 24 VDC with a peak voltage of 35 VDC. The channel to bus isolation rating is 500 VDC and the input impedance is 10 kiloOhms.
There are two total analog outputs with two total channels to go along with them. These outputs have an output voltage range of 4 through 30 VDC with a resolution of 12 bits.
Lastly, there are 8 total digital outputs with only one common. The operating voltage for the digital outputs is set anywhere in the range of 10 and 28 VDC. The maximum load current is 0.5 A and the maximum inrush current is 650 mA. There is no maximum load. These outputs are protected from short circuits and have their own current sourcing.
