About the IC300OCS082
The IC300OCS082 unit is classified as a bipolar I/O module, which means that it supports both digital and analog I/O ports. The IC300OCS082 bipolar I/O module was made by GE Fanuc as a part of the SmartStack line. In most cases, you can find the IC300OCS082 bipolar I/O module within the inventory at AX Control.
The IC300OCS082 bipolar I/O module has four different sections, which are the following: analog input, digital input, analog output, and digital output. Each of these four sections will be detailed below.
This module has four analog inputs with four channels. The input ranges for the analog input ir +/-10.23 VDC and the input impedance is 1 MΩ < 12 VDC or it is clamped at 12 VDC nominal. The maximum clamp current for the analog input is 75 mA. The maximum error at 25 degrees Celsius is 0.1%, while any other error for temperatures other than that specific temperature is 0.01%/degrees Celsius.
The module has eight digital inputs with only one common attached. The peak voltage can reach up to 35 VDC while the input voltage ranges from 12 and 24 VDC. These inputs have the characteristic of being bi-directional.
The IC300OCS082 bipolar I/O module has two analog outputs with two channels. The peak voltage range for the analog output is 10.23V, with the output range of +/-10.23 V. The load impedance is a minimum of 2 kΩ and the load capacitance is a maximum of .01μF.
Lastly, this module has eight digital outputs with only one common attached. The operating voltage for this section is 10 through 28 VDC with the peak voltage being 28 VDC. The maximum load current per each output is 0.5 A.
