About the IC300OCS999
The IC300OCS999 is a GE Fanuc Operation Control Station (OCS) Demonstration Case.
The original manufactured IC300OCS999 is a kit that is used for demonstration and training purposes. It can be used to experiment with and show the different functions of the OCS. This case originally shipped from Reliance with all of the necessary equipment, cables, and connectors needed to demonstrate the system. Other than plugging cables into the power supply, no actual installation or assembly is needed for this kit to function.
There are three different models of this type of case. The IC300OCS999 is the largest model. This kit originally came with an IC300OCS100, a IC300OCS200, 2 IC300DIQ611, a IC300THM100, a IC300DAC101, a power supply, a power switch, 2 network terminating resistors, an RS-232 9-pin programming cable, a power cord, 16 input switches and output lights, a thermocouple plug, 2 OCS configuration plugs and 2 CsCAN network plugs. The RS-232 plug can be connected directly to a PC.
There are two 9-pin configuration ports within the case. These are labeled OCS100 config and OCS200 config. These ports are connected with a ribbon cable directly to the 9-pin ports on the OCS. The case can then be connected to a PC. Once connected to the PC, the PC can be used to configure the Cscape software to communicate with the OCS and program it with ladder logic. Unlike the smaller models, this case has the ability to be connected to a network. It has two 5-pin network connections.
Orders will ship with available accessories. This case is no longer being supported by GE and may be a little difficult to find. AX Control does try to keep it in stock though as a new surplus or refurbished kit.
