The IC620ALG021 analog expander unit provides the Micro PLC to which it is connected with two 8-bit analog inputs and one 8-bit analog output. When engaged in a program, the analog inputs use the references IR1 and IR2, while the analog output uses the reference OR1. The scaling is 0 Volts = 0 mA = 0 bits, 10 Volts = 20 mA = 255 bits.

When you are engaging in PC-based programming, be sure to note that the IC620ALG021 analog expander unit will require the programming software version 2.37 or later.

The IC620ALG021 analog expander unit has a switch which needs to be set to select operation with either a 14/16 point or 28 point CPU unit. Keep in mind, however, that this switch cannot be used with CPU units with the catalog numbers IC620MRD014A or IC620MRD114A, although it can be used with newer versions of these CPU units. Zero, gain, and span adjustments are factory set and any further adjustments set by the user is not recommended.

The IC620ALG021 analog expander unit has a voltage rating of 110 to 120 VAC, 50/60 Hz (wide range). The power supply voltage is 85 VAC to 264 VAC, 47 to 63 Hz. Lastly, the power consumption is rated as being 10 Watts.
