About the IC620CBL003
The IC620CBL003 is an I/O Expander Cable for a GE Fanuc Micro PLC. The Micro PLC is no longer receiving support from GE Fanuc and parts for it may be a little hard to find. The IC620CBL003 is a ribbon cable that is used to connect a GE Fanuc Micro PLC CPU Unit to an Expander Unit. This is an optional 0.5 meter expander cable that can be purchased to replace the 250 mm cable that comes with the expander unit. There is also an optional 1 meter cable that can be purchased instead. Using these longer cables would allow the expander to be mounted onto a surface that isn't directly next to the CPU. This cable weighs right around 0.15 lbs.
After the two units are mounted, the ribbon cable can be connected to the units. There is a protective cover on the top left side of the expander unit and on the top right side of the CPU. It may be necessary to use a screwdriver to remove the cover. Once the cover is removed the ribbon cable can be attached between the two units.
