The IC620EDR028 expander unit will provide the operator with 28 additional points, with 16 DC inputs and 12 relay outputs. The power supply voltage rating for this unit is set anywhere from 85 VAC to 264 VAC at a range of 47 to 63 Hz. The rating for this device’s power consumption is 8.1 VA while the power available from the VPP terminal is unfused 8.4 mA per unused input at 24 VDC. Also, both this device’s voltage drops and its interruptions are rated as being 50 ms at 85 VAC of power input. 

The IC620EDR028 expander unit has 16 DC inputs, all of which are opto-isolated from the logic circuitry. For these inputs, the rated voltage is open circuit and is set to 24 VDC +/- 3.6 VDC. The input current is set to 8.4 mA and the input impedance is set to 3 kΩ.

The IC620EDR028 expander unit also has 12 relay outputs, all of which are electromechanical relay contact type. These relay outputs have normally open contacts. The contact resistance for these outputs are rated at a maximum of 30 mΩ and the minimum load is 5 VDC at 1 mA.
