QPI11100C2P
This model, from the QuickPanel series of human/machine interface units, is a series of touch screen panels. The QuickPanel series is a lineup that was developed and produced by General Electric, which is now unfortunately out of production, and largely regarded as being obsolete.
The QPI11100C2P module is one of their 10.4 inch touch screen models, outfitted with a thin film transistor display, shown in full color (8 solid colors and 8 flashing colors). The image resolution that this QPI model displays the graphic information in is 640 by 480 pixels, and the viewing area of the touch screen is 11.87 inches wide and 8.96 inches tall.
Overall, the physical dimensions of this unit can be measured as having a width of 12.48 inches/317 mm, a height of 9.57 inches/243 mm, and then a depth reaching 2.28 inches/58 mm. The weight of this touch screen unit is 7.7 pounds, or 3.5 kilograms.
The memory capabilities of the QPI11100C2P module have been expanded upon when comparing it to previous models: 4 megabytes, formatted into Flash, erasable, programmable, read only memory (Flash EPROM). The larger application memory means that more diagnostic screens are available for the operator to view at once, allowing for more efficiency in its reports.
If a user needs a hard copy of the device’s records, status updates, and/or actions, then the QPI11100C2P model is equipped with an integrated printer port, as well as a download port, a serial Input and Output port, and numerous auxiliary input and output ports.
