About the QPI11100S2P
QPI11100S2P
This version of QuickPanel model is given the designation ID of “QPI11100S2P.” The QuickPanel series of human/machine interfaces were all developed and produced originally by General Electric’s division of industrial automation.
The QPI11100S2P model is one of their 10.4 inch screens, with a viewing area of 11.87 inches x 8.96 inches, or 301.5 millimeters x 227.5 millimeters (width by height). The image resolution for the graphical information display module is 640 x 480 pixels.
The physical dimensions of the QPI11100S2P module are measured as 12.48 inches in width (317 mm), 9.57 inches in height (243 mm), and then 2.28 inches in depth (58 mm). This model is also protected by a case that is awarded a 4X/12 NEMA grade and an IP-65 rating. This protective casing keeps it safe from workplace accidents and environmental damage, but it gives the model a total weight of up to 7.7 pounds, or 3.5 kilograms.
The QPI11100S2P is built with a more expanded application memory than previous models in the QuickPanel lineup. The 4 megabytes of memory is formatted as erasable, programmable, read only memory (EPROM). This allows for more detailed informational graphics to report to operators on-site.
If a hardcopy of the device’s records and status updates are needed, there is a printer port integrated into the module as well. A 10BaseT EtherNet port is available for use as well, and numerous I/O ports are integrated for sound, such as a speaker, buzzer, and sound lineout output ports.
