A 9 inch, monochromatic display touch screen, this is one of the QuickPanel H/M interface modules from General Electric’s industrial automation division. Rather than an LCD display, like previous models in this series, the QPI31200E2P model is lit up by an amber electroluminescent display module, which provides users with a better level of visibility. The high intensity electroluminescence and the high contrast ratio allows for users to recognize and successfully use them in brightly lit work environments. This touch screen also offers a wider viewing angle than the preceding models in the QuickPanel series.

The electrical specifications that allow this model to operate require an alternating current range between 85 to 132 volts (V/AC). For its memory capabilities, it is able to hold up to 2 megabytes, which are formatted into Flash EPROM memory; or, erasable, programmable, read only memory. The image resolution that this model displays is 640 by 400 pixels.

Physically, this QPI model has the standard dimensions that similarly built models have, with a width of 10.79 in/274 mm, then a height of 8.5 in/216 mm, and reaches a depth of 2.23 in/56.5 mm.
