About the QPJABR201
QPJABR201
This unit is the QPJABR201. What this classification means is that it is a communication module intended to connect the A-B Remote I/O system with a QuickPanel touch screen unit. These communication modules are optional, additional components, however, and aren’t required for the QuickPanel units to operate successfully. The option is always there, though, as the QuickPanel models are capable of connecting with every one of the major programmable logic controllers. There’s the A-B Remote I/O, that the QPJABR201 is meant to interact with, and then A-B DH Plus, Modbus Plus, Genius I/O, Profibus, DeviceNet, and then Interbus-S.
The QuickPanel models are outfitted with an advanced backlighting array, and has the options of an amber electroluminescent light system, a liquid crystal display, or a super twisted nematic display. The other option for these models is the power intake, with either direct current (20 to 27 V/DC) or alternating current (85 to 132 V/AC).
Size is where these QuickPanel touch screen units are more varied. The range of these are 12.1 inches (12.48 in W x 9.57 in H x 3.35 in D) and weighing 8.4 lbs, to as small as 5 inches, (6.75 in W x 5 in H x 2.125 in D) from their QuickPanel Junior category, which weighs only 1.5 lbs.
These items are no longer in production from their original manufacturer, General Electric. Regardless of that, AX Control’s inventory of QuickPanel products have been fully refurbished and optimized.
